Kelvin Moore was a standout at the Nike Camp at Auburn posting good numbers all around in the testing. At 6-1 and 184 pounds, Moore ran a 4.49 forty and a 4.42 shuttle. It's was not surprise to find out that he had a successful season last year at Hardaway High School in Columbus, GA.
"We went 6-4 last year," said Moore. "We have about eight
starters returning this season. I played running back and linebacker last year,
and I had 1,359 yards on 174 carries with 13 touchdowns last season. At
linebacker I had 81 tackles, one interception, and 2 tackles for loss. I went to
the Nike Camp in the spring, and I went to the Auburn summer camp. UT-Chattanooga
has offered me a scholarship, and I am also being recruited by Alabama, Georgia,
Georgia Southern, and Auburn. Alabama would probably be my favorite team right
Moore is a good student with a 3.6 GPA, and should have no trouble qualifying.
He was All-City in the high jump as a junior and also competes on the 200,
4x100, and 4x400 teams.
