Lineman back Home at Westminster

After Spending his junior year at Hargrave, Philip Browning is back home at Westminster. He is an excellent offensive line prospect, and is being recruited by several schools across the south.

Philip Browning has spent his summer gaining weight, and getting acclimated to being back home in Atlanta after spending a year at Hargrave Academy in Virginia. He currently lists five schools.

"I have no favorites. I'm basically interested in anyone who's interested me. But, I do like Florida State, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Duke, and Virginia. None of them have offered me yet."

Browning attended eight camps over the last few months and put on quite a few pounds.

"I lost about forty pounds while I was in Virginia. Now I've put back on alot of that, and I'm up to 265lbs. I also lowered my forty time to a 5.35"

As for being back at home, Phillip is still getting used to it.

"I'm adjusting pretty well to the transition. I'm glad to be back home with my friends, but there are lots of things I miss about being at Hargrave."

Browning's new team at Westminster Academy will hold their final scrimmage versus Cartersville on Friday.
