Cook tries to fry the Bacon on Friday night

Cook County is one of those teams that always seems to find their way into the win column. The Hornets have done it 8 times already this season against one loss.

The loss was to Charlton County, a team that most teams in the area also lost to. But in the Cook County wins are two shutouts, and 5 other games where the Hornet defense kept the opposition to under 10 points.

That's astonishing considering this is an offensive minded team lead by super stud Thomas Arnold.

Taking nothing away from this offense, because the Hornets have posted scores like 54, 50, and 47...In fact, the lowest scoring week came in week one when Cook knocked off Cairo 14-6.

Head Coach George Dean has the Hornets at home in round one of the playoffs against SE Bulloch. It's a very winable game, but like every other team, the goal is not to lay it all out on the line against Bacon County this weekend, and avoid injuries like the plague.
