Vidalia tries to stay perfect & spoil GAC's Season

Of all the games on the card for Friday night, the one that may get overlooked, but shouldn't is Greater Atlanta Christian at Vidalia.

GAC is coming off a trip to the Dome which makes them a hot commodity, but with two losses, many had written this team off.

But you can't overlook the fact that Jimmy Chupp has his team in round three of the playoffs after two huge wins over Grady and Morgan County, both on the road.

The Region Championship went their way in 2000 and 2001, and a win over Vidalia on Friday night would cap off a season for a true team.

There's not that superstar that teams like Vidalia has, there is a team concept at GAC, and that's something that Coach Chupp has preached since he arrived on campus.

On the other side of the ball sits one of the most dominant teams in AA football. Vidalia is 11-0-1, riding an 11 game win streak, and they have a player that could scare even the biggest of guys...

Eric McLendon is 6-5, 290 pounds of human flesh. The world has taken notice...Georgia and Florida State are just two of the many schools begging for the big guys services.

If Vidalia can run off of his blocks, then Quarterback Josh Sasser can free himself to air it out at will.
