Marist tries to avenge history and TCC

If there's one team that Marist didn't want to see it would be Thomas County Central. The Jackets win streak in the post season against the War Eagles is something for the history books.

It continued last year in the Dome when TCCHS ended Marists season in one of the all time classics.

So here we are, again in the midst of Dome week and wouldn't you know, it's Thomas County and Marist again for the chance at the state title.

For Marist, it's their 6th trip to the Dome since 1995, but for some reason, they can't seem to solve the puzzle that is Thomas County Central.

Marist has quite the option offense going for them. Quarterback Sean McVay runs the option with perfection, and running back Chris Davis ran, caught, and threw a touchdown earlier in a game this year, so you know he's a player.

Marist rolled through its first two rounds of the playoffs taking care of Lakeview Ft. Ogelthorpe and Westlake, but last week, ,they were put to the test by Shaw winning 18-17.

To end the Jacket streak may take a miracle, but if anyone is due for a miracle, its Marist.
