Ian Smith is a big, strong interior line prospect from Cartersville that is going to be one of the top offensive line prospects in the south this year. He has the size to make an early contribution on the next level, and he has one clear leader.

"I also like Georgia, Maryland, Vanderbilt, and Alabama. I like the
coaching staff at Georgia, and it's close to home. I haven't been to Maryland
yet, but I've heard great things about the campus. I like the environment at
Vanderbilt, and I've just always kind of liked Alabama."
Smith will help anchor a very good offensive line for Cartersville. Schools
across the south will get a shot at the big lineman, but South Carolina is in
the driver's seat early for Smith.
