"Connecticut has offered me a scholarship. My top 5 is Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama and Connecticut. I don't have a leader right now," Brandon Jones said.
What stands out about the 5 schools on his list?
Florida: "They are very interested in me and I like Coach Zook's offense a
Tennessee: "I like the environment up there. It just seems like a football
Auburn: "I went to A-Day, and I met coach Tuberville. Ever since I was
little, I have always liked Auburn."
Alabama: "I went to their Junior Day. Coach Shula really got me when he
said he would teach us everything we needed to know at practice, but once we
were in the game the ball was in your hands and you had to do it."
Connecticut: "Coach Edsall and Coach Marino are both really cool. The
weather is something I'd have to get used to, but I want to visit up there
and try it out."
What is most important to Brandon in picking the school of his choice?
"Team chemistry and the type of offense ran. I want a coach I can learn the
most from and that fits me."
Might distance have play a factor in the end?
"I don't think so. My mom might be one to get upset about me leaving, but
my dad is a coach for the Georgia Force so she's used to him being gone all
the time like I would be."
Will Jones be camping anywhere this summer?
"I'm not scheduled to go to any camps because I'm busy with my team. My
school is trying to get a lot done this summer because we didn't get enough
time to adjust after we got a new offensive coordinator last year. I also
missed the spring due to baseball so I have to make up for that."
