Quentin Wesley is an athletic defensive end prospect that has been adding offers all summer. He updates his favorites and his camp schedule.

Quinton Wesley is a 6'4 230 lb athletic defensive end out of Atlanta, GA. Wesley, a product of Crim High School recorded seven sacks and 40 plus tackles as a junior last year. He is standing on four offers right now.

Who are the first four schools to offer Wesley?

"Mississippi State, Middle Tennessee State, Tulane and North Carolina have offered me so far. Some other schools seem like they may offer are Tennessee, Clemson, Georgia, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Oklahoma and Auburn. They are all recruiting me pretty hard and have talked like they may offer soon. Pretty much all the schools in the SEC, other than LSU are recruiting me right now."

Wesley's been busy all summer and it doesn't seem to be slowing down any.

"I have already attended camps at Mississippi State, MTSU, Clemson and Auburn. I will finish out the summer by attending camps at Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina."

Wesley has been taking advantage of his time at camp this summer.

"They have taught me drills to work on, and they really showed me how I faired against great competition."

Quinton is a very athletic defensive end that runs in the forty in the 4.75 range.

"I am considered a speed rusher. My speed, quickness, agility and acceleration off the ball are things I do well right now. I want to improve on my strength. I want to get more upper and lower body strength."

With the attitude to work harder and to get better, Wesley adds " I want to lead the team to state this year. I also want to become one of the best defensive ends in the nation. If not the nation, then at least in Georgia."

Is Wesley ready to name a top five?

"My top five right now would be Mississippi State, Auburn, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Tennessee."

What stands out about these schools to make his top five?

North Carolina - They were the first to offer, and two, they were a childhood favorite.
Tennessee - Inky Johnson (Wesley's high school teammate last year) is really talking Volunteer Orange and playing for Tennessee was a dream growing up.
Auburn - Overall success and I like their staff
MSU - Really like Coach Croom, and he is someone I could see myself playing for
Oklahoma - National Championship contenders year after year

"That's my list for now, but that could change if Georgia offers. If they offer they would be in the top five."

Wesley is on track academically. He already has the necessary SAT score to go with his GPA.
After completing his three remaining camps this summer, things could heat in up in the recruitment of Wesley. When it does, be sure to follow it here on
