Tyler Horne gave his verbal commitment to The University of Alabama-Birmingham.
"I committed to Coach Sullivan of Alabama-Birmingham tonight," said Horne.
"They offered me last week before Thanksgiving and he just left from an in home visit."
Why did Horne pick the Blazers?
"It just felt right. I felt it was the best place for me. They run the spread offense and will have a senior quarterback next year for me to learn from. Overall, I just liked the fit. The coaches, the school and playing time."
Horne is still hearing a lot from a few SEC and ACC schools, but just wanted to get the process over with and he feels he made the best decision.
Tyler Horne was holding offers from Tennessee Chattanooga, Valdosta State, Ball State and a few others.
