Foster to skip senior year for college soccer

Heritage High's Courtney Foster could make her junior year her last season in the prep soccer fields. Though she is one of the state's top forwards, Foster will not be giving up the sport she has excelled in.

The perennial NCAA tournament qualifier will graduate from high school this winter, skipping her senior season, where she will go straight to Clemson University on a scholarship.

Foster will begin training with the Tigers during spring of 2003 to prepare for the fall soccer season.

Foster's high school career totals 103 goals, which earned her the DeKalb/Rockdale Player of the Year.
