Riverdale WR Names Top 3

In the last few weeks, Riverdale, Ga. wide receiver Rashad Tukes has seen his stock rise. With offers already from Virginia, Kentucky and Kent State, the 6-foot-3, 170-pounder added scholarships from four more schools recently.

"I added offers from Middle Tennessee, Memphis, East Carolina and South Carolina," Rashad Tukes said. "I also have been talking to Florida and Tennessee along with several other schools. Things have really been going good for me."

Leading the Raiders to a (4-1) Region 4A-AAAA record and (5-3) overall, Tukes has had a solid season up to this point.  He has eight touchdowns, almost 600 yards receiving and seven interceptions on defense.

"Oh yes, I'm pretty much pleased with my performance," said Tukes. "I always feel like I can get better.  I'm still working hard trying to get better every week.  We're trying to go deep in the playoffs and hopefully, to the state championship."

Who's at the top of the leaderboard for Tukes?

"I'm looking at South Carolina, Memphis, and Tennessee," he said.  "That's my top three right now."

Tukes said he's not in any rush to make a decision and will set up his visits after his season is over.  So what is he looking for in a school?

"Well, you always want academics," said Tukes. "I also want to go somewhere I can get on the field as quick as possible."

Tukes is in good academic standing with a current GPA of 2.9 and a 1240 on the SAT.
