Thomas Still Waiting

Stone Mountain (Ga) Stephenson cornerback Aaron Thomas is one of the top defensive back prospects in Dekalb County. With the end of November approaching, Thomas is still waiting on his first offer. spoke with Thomas about his recruiting process.

While he doesn't have any offers at this point, Aaron Thomas is definitely attracting some attention.

"I'm hearing a lot from Louisville, Boston College, Memphis, and Georgia," said Thomas. "I'm still waiting on my first offer, but I'm getting interest from several schools."

Thomas has 51 tackles and an interception while leading Stephenson to a (9-2) record and a 31-6 win over Groves in the first round of the state playoffs. The Jaguars will host Coffee (9-2) in the second round on Friday night.

"Yeah, everything is going pretty good," he said. "We're just trying to keep it on a roll. We're trying to stay healthy and keep it going. We're just playing hard."

Thomas doesn't want to think about recruiting until his season is over. He doesn't have any plans for any official visits right now.

"I don't have any other official visits set up so far," Thomas said. "Right now, I'm just trying to stay focused on our next game. I think I'll take my visits when the season is over."

Presently, Louisville is showing the most interest in Thomas. Four schools are currently at the top of his list of favorites.

"My top teams would be Louisville, Boston College, Georgia Southern and Rutgers." he said.
