Duluth OL Still Undecided

Duluth High two-star offensive lineman Andrew Higgins just recently visited Ball State. Higgins talks to GAVSV.com about his trip to Muncie, Indiana and his next three upcoming visits.

Andrew Higgins is still contemplating where he'd like to play for the next four or five years.  Ball State, Navy, Tulane, Furman, and UAB have offered the 6-foot-2, 275 pounder from Duluth, Georgia.

Higgins recently visited Ball State.

"I don't have anything negative to say about my visit," said Higgins. "It went really great.  The atmosphere was great.  It was everything that I thought it would be.  I really loved the facility.  They are definitely high on my list."

"I enjoyed talking to coach John Powers (offensive line coach) and the rest of the coaches.  They were straight-up and honest with me.  I really feel like I can trust them. They told me I would have a chance to compete for playing time as a freshman.  They said they really wanted to get me in there so they can see what I can do."

Higgins was very impressed with Ball State.  However, the Scout.com two-star offensive lineman is not ready to commit.  Instead, he will take at least three more official visits before making a decision.

'I'm probably going to wait until after my official visits to make a decision," he said. "I plan to visit UAB on January 6th, Tulane on January 13th and Colgate on January the 20th."

Higgins was recently named to the "Gwinnett: All-County Football Team" by the coaches and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
