Davis Picks Up Offer Number Three

Suwanee, Ga. - Peachtree Ridge running back Brandon Davis is getting early attention from some big-time programs. Earlier this week, Davis picked up offer number three and his second from a school in the ACC.

Brandon Davis just received a very important text from Maryland Offensive Line Coach Tom Brattan. The Terps became the third school to offer the 5-foot-10, 192-pound running back from Peachtree Ridge.

"It is a great feeling," said Davis. "Maryland is a very good school. They just came off a very good year for the football team. Just knowing that they offered is a really really great feeling. I'm honored that they offered me".

The Class of 2008 Peach State prospect will be in Athens for Georgia's junior day this Saturday. On Sunday, Davis is scheduled to make an appearance in the 3rd Annual Kennedy/CES Georgia Invitational combine in Duluth, Ga.

"I'm probably going to the Tennessee, Auburn and South Carolina junior days as well," said Davis.

As a junior, Davis was first team All-State and first team All-Region for the state co-champions from Class 5A. He already has offers from Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
