Peachtree Ridge RB Enjoyed Auburn Visit

Peachtree Ridge running back Brandon Davis already holds five scholarship offers and is close to picking up several more. He visited Auburn last weekend and spoke with GAVSV.com about his trip and recruiting.

Peachtree Ridge prospect Brandon Davis put up some very impressive numbers as a junior. He rushed for 1,355 yards and 10 scores in helping his team to a state championship.

The 5-foot-10, 194 pound running back visited Auburn this past weekend and watched their scrimmage game.

"It went really well," said Davis. "I talked to Coach Eddie Gran and Coach Will Muschamp. Both of them were real nice, real good guys. They want me to come down for a camp in June."

"The campus was really big and very nice. It is one of the biggest campuses I have been to so far. The athletic facility was really nice. The field was incredible."

"They had their spring game and there was a bunch of people there to watch that. It was pretty crowded. Auburn's Brad Lester, who graduated from Parkview, is a real good friend of the family and I got to see him play. We've been friends for a while. Overall, it was a pretty good experience."

Davis said that several schools are staying in touch with him on a daily basis. Three of the schools showing him interest have not offered yet, but that could change very soon.

"I sent my tape to Boston College and they said as soon as they get it, they're going to offer me," Davis said. "They've been talking to me and texting me a lot."

"I've been talking to their recruiting coach over there and he says I'm one of their targeted guys. He said as soon as they get the tape, he's going to show it to all of the coaches."

"North Carolina is showing a lot of interest. I'm going to Tennessee on March 31 and they're showing a lot of interest as well."

"Right now I have offers from Duke, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Central Florida
and Maryland."
