Offers Keep Coming For Josh Jarboe

Joshus Jarboe is considered by some to be the top wide receiver prospect in the Peach State. With so many major offers already in hand, that could be very tough to dispute. Jarboe talked to about his latest offer from a school that's known for sending wideouts to the highest level.

"Louisiana State will lose two quality receivers to the 2007 NFL draft in Craig Davis and Dwayne Bowe, but the Tigers always reload at the wide receiver position. They're look to continue that tradition with a talented 2008 wide receiver prospect from Ellenwood, Ga.

Cedar Grove wideout Josh Jarboe just picked up another major offer, this one from LSU.

"LSU just offered me," said Jarboe. "It feels good to get an offer from them. I've been watching them play for a while now. I know Coach Miles and the Tigers like to throw the football, so it feels good to get an offer from them."

Jarboe has never visited LSU, but a trip to Baton Rouge will be a top priority.

"I'm suppose to go visit them sometime here pretty soon," said Jarboe. "I'm suppose to call their recruiting coach back on Monday."

Right now Jarboe said he is still in the process of looking and evaluating the schools showing him the most interest.

"My favorites are LSU, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Florida and Ohio State right now."

Jarboe did not make it to Athens on Saturday, but Georgia and LSU, among others will be getting a visit from the 6-foot-3, 193-pounder.

"I couldn't make it to Athens this weekend," Jarboe said. "I'm still want to visit Georgia. I'm probably going to LSU, Florida and Ohio State if I can."

Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio State, Florida State, Miami-Fla., Virginia Tech among others have offered a scholarship to Jarboe. He said Georgia Tech, Georgia
