Roswell QB Visits Georgia

Roswell quarterback Dustin Taliaferro traveled to Athens for Georgia's junior day on Saturday. GAVSV.com spoke with Taliaferro about his trip.

Roswell quarterback Dustin Taliaferro visited Georgia with several other Hornets including Garrett Embry, Ebele Okakpu and Alex Daniel

"It was a lot of fun," said Taliaferro.  "We ate as soon as we got there. They provided a presentation about their tradition and academics.  Then we got to watch their scrimmage game.  It was pretty neat."

"We got to see their facility too and it was pretty impressive. Their history is pretty impressive too.  All the players that played in the NFL and their academics were top of the line, so that was good."

Taliaferro and the other Roswell prospects were able to watch the Bulldogs' first scrimmage of the spring up close.

"We got to watch it from the sidelines," said Taliaferro. "The intensity was very impressive. The coaches were really getting after the players. It was pretty intense out there and they were really getting after each other."

Taliaferro said he wouldn't mind playing for the Bulldogs.

"They were not my favorite team growing up, but I would love to play there," Taliaferro said. "I mean that would be pretty awesome.  I loved their facility and their coaches.  Their coaches were really nice.  I was very impressed with Coach Mike Bobo and what he had to say.  Everything there is top of the line."
