"My coach told me a few days ago that Indiana had offered me," said Jarmon Fortson. "I don't know that much about Indiana. I hear they've already offered a couple of wide receivers. Obviously, they're looking for some offensive production. They needed something at wide receiver."
Fortson is flattered by the offer and he's planning to find out as much as he can about Indiana University.
"I like anybody that has offered me a scholarship," said Fortson. "Mainly because they're trying to give me an opportunity to go to school and get my education. I'm definitely interested in Indiana."
Which schools lead for the talented wideout?
"I'm interested in Georgia, Auburn and Clemson," Fortson said. "Those are my top three right now, but I've got another whole year of high school. I'm going to take a lot more official visits. So we'll just have o see what will come of it."
Fortson, who finished with 673 yards receiving and nine touchdowns as a junior, is in no hurry to make a decision about his recruiting. He plans to utilize all of his visits before deciding on a school.
"I'm just going to take it as it comes," he said. "If I feel that I want to commit, then that school has pretty much got me. But right now, I'm just taking it as it comes."
Auburn and Clemson have also offered Fortson a scholarship.
