Brandon Davis Visits Georgia Tech

Brandon Davis had a visit scheduled for Tennessee last weekend, but those plans changed. Instead, the running back prospect from Peachtree Ridge decided to visit Georgia Tech and attend their scrimmage.

Brandon Davis decided to cancel his visit to Tennessee this weekend, so he could visit the Georgia Tech campus and attend their scrimmage on Saturday.

"It was really nice," said Davis. "They had a scrimmage and I got to see the offense up close.  I saw the facility and the weight room.  I went over to see the business building which is something I'm very interested about majoring in.  I toured the facility there which was very nice."

"The coaches were real cool.  I enjoyed talking to the coaches. They treat you with respect and that's something that is very important to me.  It was really good."

Davis already holds half a dozen scholarship offers and several other schools are very close to offering. What about Georgia Tech?

"I talked to Coach Charles Kelley and Coach Curtis Modkins, the running backs coach.  I talked to Coach Chan Gailey for a couple of minutes. I didn't get an offer, but from what they've been saying, I could be getting one pretty soon."

Central Florida, Duke, Virgina Tech, Vanderbilt, Maryland and South Carolina are the six schools to offer the 5-foot-10, 194 pound running back from Peachtree Ridge High School.
