Bryce Ros Picks Up ACC Offer

The recruiting process is starting to heat up for Kennesaw (Ga.) tight end Bryce Ros. Central Florida was the first to offer the 6-foot-4, 220 pounder, but now an ACC program has entered the picture.

"I went up to Winston-Salem over weekend and then was lucky enough to get an offer from Wake Forest," said Bryce Ros. "I went up there with my family. I met with Coach Jeff Mullen who is my recruiter for this area.  I watched their spring game."

"I sat there and watched the game and then they took us on a tour of the campus. I met with one of their players, John Tereshinski.  He's a good friend of mine.  I talked to him and I hung out with him a little bit. It's just a great University and I really really enjoyed it a lot."

Ros didn't find out about his offer until after his visit was over."

"I got a text message from Wake Forest on the way home saying that I had an offer," he said. "So I called the coach back and he said that they had offered me a scholarship."

Ros was a little surprised, but very thrilled to get an offer from the Demon Deacons.

"I'm very grateful," said Ros. "Wake Forest is a great College, especially academically.  They won the ACC championship and the Orange Bowl. I'm very excited to get an offer from them."

The Kennesaw Mountain tight end prospect plans to major in Broadcast Journalism.

Now that his recruiting process is starting to heat up, Ros is trying to keep everything in it's proper perspective.

"My parents have always told me to try and enjoy it.  It's suppose to be one of the best times in your life.  Honestly, I'm truly blessed to be able to have the chances that I'm having. It's a real honor to have colleges looking at you.  I think you just try to enjoy it the best you can."
