Nick Bass Adds Another SEC offer

Northside-Warner Robins wide receiver Nick Bass just picked up his third offer on Wednesday. GAVSV.com talked to the 5-foot-11, 195-pound athlete about his latest offer and his recruiting process.

"I got an offer from Vanderbilt today," said Bass" They sent it in the mail to house."

As a junior, Bass had 39 receptions for 524 yards and 13 touchdowns to help lead his Northside Eagles to the 2006 Class 4A State Championship.  Vanderbilt becomes his third offer. He already holds offers from Tennessee and Indiana.

"Right now, I don't know to much about Vanderbilt, but I'm going to find out as much as I can about them," said Bass. "This means a big deal to me. It's another SEC school looking at me and it only increases my chances of playing in the SEC."

Bass said he doesn't have a favorite, but he really wants to play in SEC.

"I'm a big fan of any school in the SEC," he said. "That's basically it for me.  Any other schools outside the SEC, I would have to really look into them."

Bass said he plans to attend camps at South Carolina and Auburn later this summer. He's currently getting a lot of interest from West Virginia and South Carolina. Both schools could be close to offering.
