Video: Roswell LB Zack Waddell Wreaks Havoc

Roswell, Ga. - Outside Linebacker Zack Waddell is one of the main reasons why Roswell was able to capture a piece of the Class 5A State championship in 2006. Here is a look at Junior highlights of Zack Waddell as he wreaks havoc on opposing ball carriers and blockers in this exclusive video.

At 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Zack Waddell has outstanding range. The speedy prospect projects well to the weak-side at the next level.

In the video highlights below, he excelled at taking on multiple blockers and freeing up his teammates to make plays for the Hornets' defense.

Waddell played in a limited number of games last season due to an illness, but finished strong down the stretch moving from defensive end to outside linebacker.

He was a standout at the Elite Camp in Atlanta last week and he's getting heavy interest from Vanderbilt, Duke, Northwestern, Ohio University, Furman, and Wofford.

Waddell, who claims a 90% grade point average, is currently in Nashville visiting Vanderbilt, but still took time to talk to about his early favorites.

"Academics is very important to me, so I'm very interested in Duke, Vanderbilt, Northwestern and schools high in academics," said Waddell. "I mean playing time is important, but a good education is very important to me as well."

"I really don't have a favorite right now. I'm going to try to take as many visits as I can before making a decision, but Duke would have to be the school that I'm the most interested in right now."
