Two More Visits For QB Kurvin Curry

Hartwell, Ga. - It was a very busy weekend for Hart County quarterback Kurvin Curry. Not only did he visit two ACC schools, but he also landed his second offer from a member of the MAC.

Kurvin Curry just returned home from North Carolina after spending one day camping at Duke and another day visiting Wake Forest.

"Saturday I went to Duke," said Curry. "They had a little one day camp up there and I got to know Coach [Peter] Vaas, the Quarterbacks Coach for Duke.  I also got to spend some time with Coach [Glenn] Spencer, my Recruiting Coach."

"Then Sunday, I visited Wake Forest. I got to talk to Coach [Jeff] Mullen and everything.  He was talking pretty good to me. They acted like they might want to offer me. He said they were going to let me know something by the end of the month."

Duke had already offered the 5-11, 175 pounder, and he received his second offer from a school in the Mid-American Conference late last week.

"Central Michigan offered me last Friday," Curry said. "Their Recruiting Coach for our area came down during the spring while we were practicing, but I didn't really get to talk to him.  He said he would catch me later on.  Then I talked to him on Friday, and he said they wanted to offer me."

UAB could be the next school to offer the Hart County athlete. The Blazers have really heated up his recruiting the past couple of weeks.

"I'm probably going to a UAB camp and I'm thinking about going to a Georgia and Clemson camp too." he said.

Curry will be traveling to Athens with his teammates for the Georgia 7-on-7 camp this Thursday.
