Lowndes High running back Darriet Perry will be traveling through South Florida this
weekend. Perry will be taking an unofficial visit to Florida International
on Saturday. The Golden Panthers are one of three schools to offer the
Scout.com two-star prospect. Middle Tennessee State and Illinois
have also offered.
The University of South Florida will be receiving an unofficial visit from Perry this weekend as well. He will be delivering game film and meeting with the Bulls' coaching staff.
USF is just one of several schools showing heavy interest in the 5-foot-9, 187-pounder. Central Florida, UAB and Arkansas could also be close to offering.
Perry recently scored a 17 on his SAT which gives him a qualifying score. He also holds a 2.5 GPA. Some schools were just waiting on a qualifying score before offering.
