Darriet Perry Travels To South Florida

Darriet Perry, a running back from Lowndes High School, will be visiting two schools in South Florida this weekend.

Lowndes High running back Darriet Perry will be traveling through South Florida this weekend.  Perry will be taking an unofficial visit to Florida International on Saturday.  The Golden Panthers are one of three schools to offer the Scout.com two-star prospect.  Middle Tennessee State and Illinois have also offered.

The University of South Florida will be receiving an unofficial visit from Perry this weekend as well. He will be delivering game film and meeting with the Bulls' coaching staff.

USF is just one of several schools showing heavy interest in the 5-foot-9, 187-pounder. Central Florida, UAB and Arkansas could also be close to offering.

Perry recently scored a 17 on his SAT which gives him a qualifying score. He also holds a 2.5 GPA. Some schools were just waiting on a qualifying score before offering.
