In Norcross' case, its average point total through four games this season is a whopping 37.2 thanks to a balanced offensive attack featuring an efficient quarterback, a talented tailback and host of all-star receivers highlighted by five-star standout Brice Butler.
Blue Devils starting quarterback Nich Sorel has guided his team to its hot start, accumulating 397 yards on 32-of-41 passing with seven touchdowns. Starting tailback has been just as dangerous to opposing defenses – rushing for 378 yards on 53 carries. He has three touchdowns, as well.
At receiver, Norcross' one-two punch of Butler and four-star prospect Devonta Bolton have combined for over 500 yards receiving and 10 scores. Butler and Bolton may be catching passes together now, but next season they will be doing so on opposite ends of the country.
But tonight Butler and Bolten will get an early look at what playing against elite defenders is like as Peachtree Ridge matches up well with two big time prospects in its defensive backfield.
Peachtree Ridge will rely offensively on the legs of starting tailback Brandon Davis. The Blue Devils should expect to see a heavy dose of the three-star, UCF commitment.
Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
