Led by the sstandout running of tailback Tijuan Green, Northside-Warner Robins earned a 30-0 victory to propel them into semifinal action against Tucker next weekend.
Green, who has made a habit of busting off big-rushing games all season, continued his stellar senior season by reeling off 196 yards on the ground against Rome. Of his 26 carries, two of them went for scores for the Eagles.
Quarterback Joe Scott also played well, tossing two touchdown passes in the games first two quarters to set up a 21-0 halftime advantage.
The blanking of Rome was the sixth-straight game in which the Northside-Warner Robins achieved a shut out.
