A perfect season is about to end for one of Georgia's most talented high school football teams.
Which one? Find out Friday night at the Georgia Dome when Tucker faces off with Northside-Warner Robins for a trip to the 4A state title game.
Not only will both teams be looking to keep their respective seasons alive but both the Tigers and Eagles will be aiming towards season win No. 14 and attempting to avoid season loss No. 1.
Both at 13-0, Tucker and Northside-Warner Robins have gone about their business in 2007 very successfully. And like th eir identical records, both teams have put up comparable statistics en route to this championship-bound clash.
Both teams possess a stout defense (Tucker allows just 4.1 while Northside-Warner Robins allows just a bit more at 5.2). Both teams also field potent offenses (the Tigers record 36.7 points per contest while the Eagles achieve 34.5).
For two squads that are so evenly matched, Friday's 6 p.m. contest just may be the game of the week for Georgia high school football fans.
