It's the Wing-T offense vs. the Wing-T offense Saturday when Lowndes and Camden County rekindle an old rivalry between two teams that have met in the playoffs before.
The Vikings (12-1 overall, 6-0 region) have had a great year in 2007, bouncing back from a loss in the first game of the season to win out. Lowndes scored 31 in each of its two games in the playoffs to set up this matchup with the Wildcats (12-1, 7-0).
Just like Lowndes, Camden County saw its season hit high gear after an early loss to start the season.
The Wildcats, after losing a 17-16 heartbreaker to Chattahoochee in week two, rattled off 11 straight victories following the setback. In fact, in only one of those victories did the Wildcats allow more than eight points.
Camden County defeated East Coewta and Grayson to start the playoffs.
Both these teams played each other four times in a two-year span from 2002-04. Camden County captured three of those victories.
