The recruitment of Gainesville High star Keith Wells has been quite interesting.
At one point committed to Florida State, the talented defensive end opened things back up earlier this month after deciding he wanted to take a few more official visits.
This past weekend, Wells took a trip to Knoxville, Tenn. and it appears the Volunteers made a strong impression.
"It was one of my best visits," Wells said. "I really like Tennessee."
Wells admits that Tennessee is in the top two of his current favorites.
"They (the Vols) are sitting nice right now," Wells said.
As for the Seminoles, Wells revealed that FSU is no longer in the running despite the fact that last week he still called them his "No. 1" school.
The 6-5 pass rusher is one of the top prospects at his position in the entire country. So, will he be bringing his playmaking ability to Knoxville?
Only time will tell.
