Peach Stars Shine Bright at Kennedy/CES

Nearly 100 of Georgia's best showed up Saturday for the 4th Annual Kennedy/CES Combine to kick-start their recruitment for the Class of 2009. There were some names we knew well, like Jonathan Davis of Tucker, and some names we should get to know better, like DeDe Lattimore and Eric McDaniel of Cedar Shoals and Calhoun respectively.

First off, I would like to thank the Competitive Edge Sports, the participants, the coaches and parents, and Under Armour for helping the 4th Annual Kennedy/CES Combine go off without a hitch on Saturday.

Nearly 100 players from the northern half of Georgia arrived in Duluth to help kick start their college recruitment along with a few neighbors from South Carolina.

Some names we expected to show well, did show well, like Jonathan Davis of Tucker, Jamal Patterson of Henry County, Matt Crisafi of Blessed Trinity, and Kenneth Gilstrap of Miller Grove among others.

But the day is typically for players looking to step up and make a name for themselves for the first time including guys like DeDe Lattimore and Bubba Freeman of Cedar Shoals, and big Eric McDaniel of Calhoun.

Here is a list of results from Saturday's event, sorted by position.
