Emanuel County Institute linebacker Dexter Moody is a player to watch in 2009.
The 6-foot-2 and 205-pound defender played sideline-to-sideline for state-champion ECI last season and will be considered one of the top senior linebacker prospects heading into his final season.
Moody got the recruitment process over with quickly, verbally committing to the University of Georgia last month but don't expect programs to back on trying to change his mind.
Moody boasts good speed for the linebacker position and can drop back in coverage if need be.
He will have to add some weight to that 205-pound frame if he wants to be able to shed blocks in the grueling SEC, though.
