A day after nabbing a scholarship offer from Connecticut and just under a week after snagging one from Alabama, Henry County High wide receiver Jamal Patterson has picked up yet another one.
"East Carolina mailed me in an offer today," Patterson told GAVSV.com via text message.
ECU is the latest in a growing number of schools that have recognized the football prowess of one of the top pass-catchers in the entire state of Georgia.
Patterson said today that he didn't expect so much early attention.
"I'm surprised," he said. "I had no idea some of these schools were recruiting me."
Is the 6-foot-2 and 188-pounder ready to name a favorite of all the interested schools?
"No, not yet," Patterson said.
