Dunwoody center Chris Singleton has been named the state of Georgia's Player of the Year by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.
The talented post-player has signed on to play college basketball at Florida State.
One of the top players in the entire country, the 6-foot-8 Singleton has also been named a McDonald's All-American. It's likely that he will be able to earn immediate playing time once his career officially commences in Tallahassee later this year.

In addition to Singleton, Stephenson High guard Jylisa Williams was named the girl's basketball Player of the Year.
