Carver-Atlanta is full of talented rising seniors and Mark Williams is one of those athletes.
The 5-foot-9 and 180-pound safety doesn't boast an official scholarship[ yet but says that he has been hearing from "Purdue, Illinois, Kentucky, Tulane and Middle Tennessee State."
"They all have been contacting me."
In addition to the interest already gained from those programs, Williams is hoping to turn some heads this weekend when he travels to Florida to attend a few junior days.
"I am going to UCF tomorrow," Williams said Friday night. "Then the next day I am going to Florida."
The trips to Orlando and Gainesville will be the second college trips for the talented defender as he has already visited Georgia last season.
"I had fun," he said when asked what he thought of the Bulldogs' campus. "It is really nice."
For now, Williams hopes that college coaches notice just how "nice" his game is on the gridiron.
"I am a smart player," Williams said. "I set the defense up. I play strong safety and I call the strength of the offense that allows us to set up."
