Peachtree Ridge linebacker Kevin Minter and his family take each and every college scholarship offer seriously.
They talk about the pros and the cons of each program and they analyze just what Minter will get out of the program should he chose that school in the end - from the field to the class room.
So it shouldn't come as no surprise the reasoning behind Minter's decision to verbally commit to LSU while visiting the campus this weekend.
"The family atmosphere of LSU is what drew us in," Minter's older brother, Murray, told GAVSV.com. "The great coaching and the opportunity to contribute his first year is what we like the most."
Minter's choice of the Tigers ends what has been a whirlwind recruitment. It seems like every week the talented middle linebacker was earning yet another scholarship offer.
