Henry County wide receiver Jamal Patterson earned himself another college scholarship offer Monday.
"The University of Oregon offered me today," Patterson told GAVSV.com.
The offer from the Ducks comes from a program that is much farther away than the top-notch schools in the southeast that has already extended offers Patterson's way.
Still, the three-star wide receiver says it won't matter when it comes time to make a decision.
"I know it's far away but that's OK," Patterson said. "Distance isn't a factor for me."
The 6-foot-2 and 188-pounder admits that he doesn't know much about Oregon but "will do some research on them."
Patterson is one of the most sought-after prospects in the Peach State after a junior campaign in which he nabbed 44 passes for 933 yards and 11 touchdowns. As a sophomore he had 28 receptions and seven scores.
