Washington High's Branden Smith has an impressive list of 10 college scholarship offers.
It appeared recently that the four-star athlete was on the verge of nabbing official offer No. 11 from Notre Dame but that isn't the case just yet.
"I finally reached Notre Dame the other day," Smith told GAVSV.com Wednesday evening. "I talked to one of the coaches up there and he said he wasn't sure when they were going to offer me. I just have to keep waiting."
So far, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Florida State, Arkansas and West Virginia have all offered the two-way speedster.
Asked if he was prepared to name a favorite early in the recruiting process, Smith declined but did say when he would be narrowing things down a bit.
"I want to get a top four or five by the middle of my season," Smith said. "That's still a ways off so it gives me time to think about it all."
Smith has taken visits to the campuses of Auburn, Clemson, Georgia Tech and Georgia and mentioned Wednesday that he didn't have any upcoming visits scheduled yet. and Clemson.
