Evandale Johnson may not have the prototypical frame of a collegiate defensive end, but the Coffee County High School product makes it a habit of getting to the quarterback.
"I have got a lot of drive," Johnson told GAVSV.com. "
I try hard on every play and I never give up."
At 6-2 and 195 pounds, Johnson has an athletic frame that he uses to get around offensive linemen.
Johnson has not yet received any college scholarship offers but a few schools have expressed some interest.
"I have been getting letters from North Carolina, Wake Forest, Mercer and a few military schools," Johnson said.
The talented defender hasn't been to visit any schools and isn't sure if he will this summer. He does plan to attend an annual defensive linemen camp.
"I have been to it before," he said. "It helps."
Stay tuned for more on Johnson right here at GAVSV.com.
