The top three hasn't changed for Corico Hawkins.
"My three favorites are still Clemson, Auburn and Florida," Hawkins told GAVSV.com.
The Baldwin High star linebacker maintains this unchanging list of schools despite a recent offer from a program that would normally give any Peach State native room for pause.
But not Hawkins.
"I was offered by Georgia last week," he said. "It's good to have an offer from a school that's nearby but they aren't one of my favorites. I was excited about the offer, though. UGA is only an hour and a half away."
Ironically, distance is a factor in the 6-foot, 220-pound defender's recruitment.
"I want to be able to play close to home," Hawkins said. "But those three are still my favorites."
