The 14th-ranked defensive back in the country as a senior a season ago, former Fayette County High star Brandon Boykin earned a four-star ranking for his exploits on the gridiron.
Recruitment: Like many of his future classmates, Boykin committed to Georgia early on and never really looked back. Boykin gave the Bulldogs a verbal pledge in March of 2007 and stuck to his word and eventually signed on the dotted line 11 months later.
At UGA: Boykin will have some competition at Georgia right off the bat as he signed with a class that features several defensive backs. In addition to Boykin, the Bulldogs iinked Makiri Pugh, Bacarri Rambo, Xavier Avery and Sanders Commings.
A look at the former Fayette County star and future Bulldog:
* Boykin will wear No. 20 at Georgia.
