Former Norcross High wide receiver Brice Butler was one of the top offensive playmakers in the entire country last year and was ranked a four-star prospect.
Recruitment: Butler is headed west after giving Southern California an early commitment. There was talk that Butler may decide to stay closer to home and possibly attend the alma mater of his father, former Florida State star Bobby Butler, but in the end it was Trojans all the way as the younger Butler will spend the next three to five years on the West Coast.
At USC: The Trojans are traditionally deep at the offensive skill positions but Butler may find more competition than normal in Los Angeles. With his ability to make people miss and make tough grabs, early playing time may come early. USC oftentimes plays more freshmen than many other programs, so that helps too.
