One of the most well-rounded pass-catchers in the entire country as a senior a season ago, former Cedar Grove star Josh Jarboe earned a four-star ranking.
Recruitment: Jarboe had more than a handful of offers to choose from some of the top programs in the nation. In the end, it came down to four programs: LSU, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma with the Sooners eventually winning out for his services.
At Oklahoma: Jarboe was one of three receivers to ink with Oklahoma in February. He will be joined by Dejuan Miller and Jameel Owens as first-year wide receivers when fall practices commence in August. Despite some legal trouble at the conclusion of his senior year, Jarboe is already on campus at Oklahoma and Sooners head coach Bob Stoops expects him to play an integral role in his team's offense right away. "We feel that he will be a positive contributor to our campus," Stoops said in a recent interview with Scout.com. "We have already stressed to him that his citizenship is of the upmost importance. He understands that anything less than exemplary behavior will not be tolerated."
