Rashad Wynes already had a following of colleges that know exactly what he can do with the football in his hands.
But after an impressive showing at the UnderArmour/Scout.com Combine last month in Atlanta, that following is sure to grow. Just ask the coaches at the University of Connecticut.
"I have started to hear a lot from UConn," Wynes told GAVSV.com Tuesday night. "I have gotten like 10 letters from them. They haven't offered yet but they have been sending me a lot of stuff."
While the Warner Robins athlete awaits word on a potential Huskies offer, he does know of a few programs that have recently expressed their interest to a higher degree.
"I got offers from Akron and Eastern Kentucky a week ago," Wynes said.
Wynes stars at both wide receiver and running back. At the combine he participated as a wide receiver and has said that is the position that he sees himself playing at the next level.
