Patterson Impressed By Auburn Tigers

Henry County star wide receiver Jamal Patterson attended the Tigers' camp this past weekend and tells about the trip.

Jamal Patterson is one of the top wide receiver prospects in not only the state of Georgia but the entire country.

The four-star prospect from Henry County High blends unique size (he stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 200 pounds) with speed (he runs a sub 4.6-second 40-yard dash).

Patterson's exploits on the gridiron have led to a plethora of offers from programs through the country - Stanford to UCF.

The nation's 14th-ranked wide receiver spent this past weekend at one of the schools that is actively recruiting him - Auburn. spoke briefly about his trip to see the Tigers program. The following are the highlights of that conversation.

"My trip to Auburn was great."

"Everything there is really nice. I liked it a lot. Auburn is a true football city and has a great feel. They have a new offense that is really great for wide receivers and I could see myself playing for them."

"(Auburn) is very high on my list of schools. It's only an hour and a half away from home."
