Jamal Patterson is one of the top wide receiver prospects in not only the state of Georgia but the entire country.
The four-star prospect from Henry County High blends unique size (he stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 200 pounds) with speed (he runs a sub 4.6-second 40-yard dash).
Patterson's exploits on the gridiron have led to a plethora of offers from programs through the country - Stanford to UCF.
The nation's 14th-ranked wide receiver spent this past weekend at one of the schools that is actively recruiting him - Auburn.
GAVSV.com spoke briefly about his trip to see the Tigers program. The following are the highlights of that conversation.
"My trip to Auburn was great."
"Everything there is really nice. I liked it a lot. Auburn is a true football city and has a great feel. They have a new offense that is really great for wide receivers and I could see myself playing for them."
"(Auburn) is very high on my list of schools. It's only an hour and a half away from home."
