Georgia Big Man Ready To Shine

Woodward Academy is known for its stellar academics. With the help of some big time football prospects it is has quickly become a "football" school. Here is a look at one of those prospects......

2010 football prospect Henry Anderson stands 6'6" and weighs 245 pounds. He looks to be a prospect on both sides of the ball either as a DE or TE/OL. This is a very good problem to have these days in the world of recruiting.

As I watched film on this young man, I notice the trait I love so well and that is heart. I see that he does not give up on plays and he stays with blocks on offense. Showing pure hustle and desire to make plays is what I like to see out of a prospect.

Tell me how your Junior season went?

Henry Anderson-" I started off really well in the first game with bunch of tackles and two sacks and two forced fumbles. I ended the season with 70 tackles and 10 tackles for loss. I also had 7 sacks from my DE spot.

What is something you want to work on in the offseason?

Anderson-" I really need to work on my hands and getting off blocks. I can push the blocker back, but I need to be able to get away better to get to the ball carrier."

What are the schools that have offered you so far?

Anderson-" Maryland, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Central Florida, West Virginia, and Wake Forest."

What is a school getting Henry Anderson?

Anderson -" First and foremost I hustle on EVERY play. I give a 100% no matter what even if the play is away from me. I also think at my size I draw alot of attention and sometimes that gets me double teamed. That will allow my teammates to make more plays when I am taking up blockers."

Stay tuned to Scout.com as we will be here with this 2010 prospect all the way to signing day.
