2010 QB get SEC Offer

Having just finished his junior basketball season twenty fours hours earlier, Nash Nance received some good news.

Spending a quite afternoon at the barber shop getting a haircut Nance received a text from his father with some good news.

Nash Nance-" I was at the barber shop getting a hair cut when my Dad text me and let me know Coach Mullen had offered me. I was excited to get that news. We met at Florida last year and have stayed in touch ever since."

Does this offer put Mississippi State in the lead for you?

Nance -" It does not put them in the lead, but it puts them up there in my top schools for sure."

Have you visited Starkville before?

Nance-" No Sir I have not but I planned to get over there during my spring break in March."

Are you still planning on going to Alabama on Saturday for Junior Day?

Nance-" Maybe, I am not sure yet. My sister has a game tomorrow and she could be playing for the region championship so I will probably be there to support her."

Rusty's Final Word- I have the exact same feeling that Scout.Com South Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons does about Nance. I feel he needs to be in a offense that throws alot of quick timing routes and underneath stuff.(Basically the offense that Mullen ran at Florida) His strength is his accuracy and sure toughness on the field. He needs to work on his deep passes of 20 yards or more. I do know he is working very hard on the weekends throwing and spending time with quarterback coaches from as far as California to help him. Nance is a VERY HARD worker and seems to carry himself very well off the field. He will no doubt get alot of attention as the combine and camp season is approaching.
