2010 Athlete hearing from the SEC

Blake Gowder is becoming a "HOT" name on the 2010 recruiting trail. He heard from 3 SEC schools in the last 4 days and visited one on Saturday.

Blake Gowder is hidden in the mountains of Georgia at Union County High School. It didn't take long after his film went out to for schools to find him. Gowder who can play on either side of the ball on the next level is a very athletic big man and has very good hands.

How was your visit to Alabama?

Blake Gowder-" It was awesome I really like the school alot. Coach Willis came up to me and he knew who I was already. He said he was looking forward to looking at my tape. He had just got them that day. I also spoke with Coach Smart and he told me he liked me alot and invited me back to one of the their practices in the spring. He also wants me to come back to camp and figure out what position they want me to play."

Who else have you heard from?

Gowder" I spoke with Coach Janzen from Georgia last week. He told me he was going to be recruiting me and he wants me to get down to Athens for junior day in March. He also invited me to their camp in June. I got invited today to Tennessee this weekend for their junior day. I had planned on going to Central Florida but now I don't know. I will decide later this week on where I am going Saturday.

Rusty's Final Word- Blake is going to be a fullback or a linebacker on the next level. He is very attractive on the offensive side of the ball with the ability to catch ball. Having a fullback that would not have to be taking out in the red zone makes him very valuable
