2011 Alabama RB Ready For Prime Time

Scout.Com was on the road Friday night and we stopped by Gadsden City HS to check on the prospects this school is putting out this year. It is no secret on amount of quality athletes they have sent to the next level in just a few short years. We think we have found a "Diamond in the rough" there this year.

Crossing the state line for the first time this year from Georgia to Alabama, I was not sure what to expect.

It didn't take long for me to see the amount of good looking prospects on the field I was about to watch in the Gadsden City vs Shades Valley game.

Gadsden City is already a hot bed for recruiting because of the past years, but also this year with 2010 CB Dale Trimble. I spoke with coaches from 3 different schools before the game and I am sure there were more present.

In a short time a RB by the name of Alonzo Harris, showed me he a legit D1 propect. He is a big back at 6'1" and 200 lbs easily. He was able to get the tough yards on the inside and also caught the ball very well out of the backfield.

We caught up with him after the game and this is what he had to say about what schools he is hearing from so far.
