Tabuyo's TAMU Visit

Honolulu (Haw.) St. Louis wide receiver and Texas A&M commit Jeremy Tabuyo saw the Aggies get their 10th win of the season on his visit this weekend.

"To be honest I didn't think they'd be 10-2," said Tabuyo. "I knew they'd be good, but it's crazy to be 10-2 with a first year coach."

Bad weather delayed Tabuyo's flight into College Station, but he kept busy once he arrived.

"When I first got there, we rested a bit. Our fight got delayed 3 hours, so when got there we were jet lagged," said Tabuyo. "We rested at hotel then met up with Kenny Bell, the recruiting coordinator. We saw some of campus and met with my wide receiver coach. I saw the campus and the town."

"We had dinner at this country club with the team," said Tabuyo. "I guess that is where they eat dinner every night before a game. It was some real good food."

While Tabuyo enjoyed the entire experience, it was easy to pick out a highlight.

"The favorite part of my trip was the football game. That thing was just so amazing. How close the fans are together," said Tabuyo. "It's like a family out there, they treat you right."

"We were just walking around the stadium and stuff and I was amazed how many people recognized me," said Tabuyo. "Are you Jeremy Tabuyo (laugh)? They said welcome to Aggie land; we'll take care of you."

So did he see what he needed to this weekend?

"Oh yeah, I know for sure that's where I want to be," said Tabuyo. "I like the town because it's big, but not too big. You can't get lost over there. There was A&M stuff everywhere, it's a football town."
