Robbie Bain Talks Official Visits

Robbie Bain, a 6-foot-3, 270-pound, offensive guard, from Bolingbrook, Ill. is one of the top interior linemen in the Land of Lincoln. Bain helped lead his team to a state quarterfinal berth next weekend against Downers Grove South. In doing so, an official visit needed to be cancelled.

Robert Bain is tough, really tough. He comes from tough stock. Older brother Ryan is a former Army-American who played for Iowa and Akron. Whoever is lucky enough to land Bain come February will get a tireless worker and a darn good football player.

Bain has anchored an offensive line this season that has helped one of the most potent offenses in the state score at will. There biggest challenge came last night against Mt. Carmel.

"I thought we played well but there's always room for improvement," Bain told

"We need to step it up even further the next couple weeks if we want to make it down state. We just need to keep playing our game and take care of business. Just feels nice to get the win over Mt. Carmel since they got us last year but now its time to get ready for next week."

Bain currently hold offers from Illinois, Northern Illinois, Ball State, Bowling Green, Western Kentucky, Buffalo, Colorado State, Western Michigan, Akron and Florida International. Anybody stand out right now?

"No leader right now, said Bain. "Florida International, Illinois and Western Michigan have probably contacted me the most. I was supposed to go to Florida International for an official visit next weekend but that will be changed now.

"The only other official visit I have set up is for after the season with Illinois. I don't have a solid date set yet tough. Florida International stands out because they are in Miami and they've done a great job last year and they are having another good season. "
